    Right. im having a problem with the server. its not taking large files over. it complained that the backup file (2.2Gb) was too big. probably the for the file transfer program. anyway, ill test it tomorrow.

    Right. im just transfering the 2.2Gb tar file from my workstation to the server @ a speed of 4.69Mbytes/s! i reckon it has another 5 min to go then the extracting. once thats over, i have to set apache up and then we are ready to go!
