first G5s shipped
the register says that the first G5s have been shipped to people who ordered them. only the 1.6 and 1.8Gz models have begun shipping. 2Gz are due late this month. Still only a 32Bit OS with 64 bit added, but still a sweet machine.

this extention to Mozilla’s Firebird allows you to read RSS feeds in it. this is handy because i havent managed to find a nice RSS reader for linux. i know now ill find one just to spite me, but still, mozilla is nice.
