this news.com article talks about cisco’s new GSR (Gigabit Switch Router) 12800. It says it carries 40Gbits/s worth of switching capacity per line card slot. Not 100% sure what it meens personally, but it sounds quite fast! :P

HSCSD internet is cool
as far as i can gather, im connecting to the web at the moment on the palmtop using the phone on HSCSD. quite cool. 43.6kbits/s is not bad for mobile internet. hopefully 3G will launch here soon. even faster blog posting!
