wahoo! NTL are upping customers internet connections to 1.5mb if your on 1mb connection, 768 for 600k customers and 300k for 150k customers. came price! this all happens in august! they are also rolling out connections to more users in Dublin, 100k in total. dont know about upload speed though, but sweet heay? i talked about the UK doing this a few weeks ago here. August. i cant wait! :)
